Our Facilities

Just like Apple, The Kling Group started in a garage. Although it is romantic and sweet, it is no long-term solution to manage logistics in a limited area in a residential area. Therefore, we early started looking for a suitable location with plenty of light, a lot of energy and with good opportunities for logistics.

We also want overall control and a close proximity to our products, so we searched for a location where the office and warehouse was lying together under the same roof. These requirements combined meant that we finally decided to move to Saltsjö Pir in Saltsjöbaden. Earlier this week, we did the relocation of our warehouse and office to the new premises.

Because we had some extra requests regarding interior design, choice of materials, wiring and a hundred other things that we absolutely had to have our own way, our real premises are still a few weeks away. Completion is in its final stages and for now, we have been able to borrow temporary offices and storage area (which is already starting to become full). Last Monday our much awaited Office Manager and Multi Wizard Niclas Fång started. Considering all the roles he is expected to fill, he is most welcome! We wish Niclas a very warm welcome to The Kling Group and look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration!

The cars

Here at the Kling Group, all employees are just as important and we make no separation on rank or position. In our sales staffs workday, it is absolutely vital to have access to a car and we took the decision that everyone, regardless of level (from the seller to the top manager) shall have the same vehicle.

Our efforts to find suitable means of transport was based on a variety of parameters. We wanted a safe, modern, stylish and spacious car with good economy and with reasonable environmental impact. The choice naturally fell on the Nissan Qashqai, because the model also reminds us of a frog in shape. The next step was to stripe the car which took some thought and consideration into the design work.

We started from the principle of less is more and wanted a sober and stylish design that still stuck out in the traffic. As our graphic profile is white and black, we chose white cars with black decals. Below we see the design, the unveiling of the first car and a picture from when the first cars were delivered. We might add that we have received incredible feedback on the cars, both from clients, individuals, and from the actual car dealer who thought the decal work was the most beautiful he had seen. Drive safe!

Product design

Creating a visual identity is a major undertaking. The mission is to make a template for how the Kling Group to look in the media, in print, on the product packaging, website, social media and other external / internal communications. This design formed the basis for the entire collection. Our ambition is to create a common expression that represents quality, functionality but with a nice and cohesive layout.

The product design will be developed during the entire business as we strive to improve and innovate in all aspects. Our designer used the visual sketches of all products, which made it much easier to decide on a final design. Sekina Kling knew more or less all the time what she was looking for, and together they came up with the look of the current collection.

The aim is to put our own stamp on our range of products which we feel stand out in the competition and distinguish themselves from their predecessors. Each product should be better or equal to the best in the current situation on the market, with a clear design goal that stands for itself. Pictured is a miscellany of various product sketches, many of which are existing product today.

Our products

Our main idea is to always deliver a product that is better or equal to the best on the market. We wanted to create a complete concept where the look and feel of the product is just as important as the function. This work became more and more concrete when we started looking for products that felt natural in the collection that we wanted to create.

The purchase work started at full speed in February and innumerable suppliers, manufacturers, agents, distributors, and factories were visited to create the best collection we could imagine. The rumors about us had preceded us, and when suppliers understood our ambition, it was easy to produce what we wanted. In the picture we see a very excited Fredrik Kling on his way to Frankfurt for the first product fair, we visited the new company.

Building a brand

Starting a trademark of enterprise is obviously an exciting challenge that consists of very many elements and moments. In the Kling Group, we have combined the experience, talent and diverse competencies in order to create something new and exciting that is based on many years of industry experience.

To give a little more insight into what is included in starting up a company group, we have chosen to gather this work in a blog for our customers, employees and external partners. Since we are already in full swing with our business (which we offer and markets specialty products for the conscious workplace), this blog consists of flashbacks to the first important steps on our wonderful trip.
